What's this all about?

Project SEAPonyCon is a convention for fans of the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic television series. It is open to all ages and all walks of life from anywhere in the world who want to experience a fandom built on love, friendship an magic.

Oh cool! When is it happening?

Project SEAPonyCon runs for two days from 19 - 20 August 2017.

Nice! Where is it gonna be?

Project SEAPonyCon is happening at the Prince Viwat Hall in the Thai Summit Tower in Bangkok, Thailand - the same hall where ThaiPonyCon 2016 was held in

Wait what?! Why not Kuala Lumpur/Manila/Jakarta/Singapore?!

Bangkok, Thailand is the home of the most successful Southeast Asian pony convention - the only pony convention in the region to exceed 700 attendees, beating the rest by more than double for two years in a row.

After years of searching, evaluating and traveling, we have settled on the best place we know with a proven track record and good service to everyone.

This sucks. I can't go.

That's not a question but we'll answer it anyway. You will be surprised at how many people jump to that conclusion just because something is a little out of reach.

Financial discipline and commitment is part and parcel of embarking on a trip of any scale. There's plenty of time to save up from now until August 2017. Plus, stay tuned to our updates as we share ways you can save up to experience Project SEAPonyCon without breaking the bank.

How much is a ticket?
A basic ticket to the convention that grants you access for both days costs 1,000 THB. We have many other tickets available at our ticketing website, tickets.SEAPonyCon.com.

Tickets will also be available at the door during the event itself for 1,000 THB. However, all other tickets on our website need to be purchased online prior to the closing dates as specified by the ticket type.
Why is the ticket so expensive?

One of Project SEAPonyCon's objectives is to bring the convention experience from other parts of the world, particularly the west, to Southeast Asia while giving it a touch of our culture. This, in turn, imposes a higher cost than most conventions in the region, especially since we have a VIP guest among other firsts.

In comparison, however, a similar experience in the United States or Europe would cost somewhere upwards of 40USD for even a basic ticket. We do our best to keep our prices as low as we could and we promise that the basic ticket price will never exceed 1,000 THB.

How do I get to the venue?

Prince Viwat Hall is located on the 7th floor of the Thai Summit Tower. It is a five-minute walk from the Phetchaburi MRT Station. We will put up more detailed directions closer to the date of the convention.

Where can I stay?

Any hotel within range of an MRT or Airport Link Rail station in Bangkok will give you easy access to the rail link which can take you straight to the Phetchaburi Station.

What's there to do?

Project SEAPonyCon is a distillation of the best that Southeast Asian bronies have to offer. From panels to workshops to games and stage events, there is something for everyone.
